Happy Birthday Wishes
by redsonic20Mar 4, 2014
This is all Stampin' Up product, but I had to post it here because it was the very first time I've used my sewing machine on something that wasn't practice. It took me a solid 20-30 minutes and two youtube videos to figure out how to thread it and then another 10-15 to test out the stitch settings to get it how I wanted it to look. I made the card super simple (I am awful at complex cards) and wanted something for texture. I've been wanting to break out the sewing machine for a while, but since I needed to learn how to thread it (my Mom was here to show me and sort of took over...and then my kids messed up her threading so I was sort of lost) and always think about it when I'm elbow deep in other things already on my desk, I never do it. Since this card didn't require a lot of 'stuff' out on my desk, I was able to finally use it. YAY!!!! I am 'sew' happy with how it turned out!!
