Flower Girl (May Mood Board)
by ScrappyDistractionsMay 28, 2014
I created this for the May Mood Board challenge - I saw the colors in the mood board and knew right away what I wanted to use - a new paper I just got from Heidi Swapp. To keep the layers light, I used two different kinds of vellum and lots of old flowers from Prima and bling from Kaisercraft (I never use flowers or bling so this was a challenge for me)
This is my daughter when she was 2 and the flower girl at her own parent's wedding (yes - we took our sweet time getting around to the marriage bit). It took her a few years to understand that kids aren't usually flower girls at their parent's wedding but she now knows we do nothing in the usual way.
