Crazy Crazy Nights
by scrappinmom99Jun 14, 2014
June 9 MMC Challenge #3
I used the Kiss colors of purple, red, blue, and green for the background. This was our family portrait in 2000. It's fun to look back on. I had just turned 29 and have such a "deer in the headlights" look here. We are not dressy people and figured it would be more "us" if we wore Kiss shirts. File under "seemed like a good idea at the time" LOL. (However, I'm wearing a (different) Kiss shirt right now so...LOL).
The journaling says "We survived our first year of parenthood with some Crazy Crazy Nights" and one stanza from the song is coming out of the guitar: You are my people, you are my crowd, this is our music, we love it loud. Yeah and nobody's gonna change me, 'cos that's who I am.
--------
B. Clean up a little here and there as the days go by -- use cardstock only
A. vacuum cleaner --- glitter ---- stickles
C. Windex --- misting/painting --- on the photo mat
D. furniture polish --- inking or heat embossing --- gray inking around photo mat
F. old rags --- fibers --- photo mat - purple & gold fibers
G. scrub brush --- metals --- copper, bronze, silver brads
I. bleach --- doodling -- "sound waves"
J. moving van (lol) --- add in 3 more types of embellies besides what you already have to do
A. scrub toilets --- 1 photo only
The moving van extra 3 are: washi tape (b&w chevron), bling, and stitching.
The baby in the picture is now almost 15 years old and he gallantly helped me out with the doodling because I do not possess that ability LOL! I added a current picture. We look a little older now ;)
