I got so much inspiration from Brandy's Fashion Challenge this month - to use gold in many different ways and also to use the photo of the outfit she supplied as inspiration. This is my sweet Maddie a few years ago at my nephew's wedding. I had a blast playing with all the gold in my stash!I just love the results you get when punching on gold metallic paper! And playing with the gold mist and the stencil was so fun! The Gold Shimmer Washi Tape at the bottom reminded me of the gold platform shoes in the pic! So much inspiration in that pic!

The acrylic heart was from a bunch that I had left over from my dd's wedding last year. They actually say "Thank You" on them and I had tied them to bags. They came with that pretty sheer ribbon and they were perfect for my page, except for the word "thank you" so I covered it with the same gold shimmer washi tape that I used at the bottom of my page and then layered the thin Little B washit tape with the gold foil word "love" running across it on top. It turned out to make a really great embellishment for my page!

I painted the wood veneer butterflies with Gold Texture Luxe, then coated them with glaze, then sprinkled gold glitter on them, and then coated them with gold Mod Podge.
