Hug Each Other
by redsonic20Jul 12, 2015
We had a very sad thing happen when we went to our usual stop for pumpkins last year. I made sure to charge up the camera battery before we left (it still had half it's juice left but I wanted to be certain we'd make it through the day) and when we got there...the camera wouldn't turn on...turns out that the battery had reached the end of it's life. Sooooo, I had to improvise with my not so great cell phone and then we spent the rest of the day running around trying to find a place that still carried our battery type.
We went to this place (one of those pop up locations) when we realized that a repeat trip up to the orchard just wasn't going to fit into our schedule with hopes to get some cute photos of the boys that we missed out on getting at the place we usually go and my oldest was very uncooperative. He wouldn't sit still with his brother to take pictures and the only way I was able to get his face in frame at all was to make them hug each other...so my visions of amazing pictures was pretty much shot, but I still think I got a couple of decent ones and they definitely reflect real life with small children.
This is a Scrapbook Steals sketch. Lilac #2.
