Maybe because of the stark white of the background. I think I may back it with something later on. I used scraps for mostly everything. I cut up the front page they put in collections and made the flags and part of the background for the photo from it. Then I used a scrap of paper from a recent layout for the rest. The journal block was a scrap of a cut-apart sheet I had used. This layout cost almost nothing to make and I love it. I hope my photo block is OK.
