I used a patterned paper for the background of both pages that looked like a real live pine tree would look. While we were at the tree farm, I took a picture of their sign and used that picture by cutting it out and making it look like the sign was in the ground. I used a dark red to matt all the photos on so that they would pop and not blend into the background papers.
