I just love this month's Mood Board Challenge! So much inspiration! I was inspired by the yellow, and decided that this pic of Maddie when she was 7 months old was perfect to scrap with yellow. Besides the yellow, the mood board inspired me in so many other ways… the yellow door inspired me to use a yellow background paper and place my white alpha against it… the yellow shoes inspired my yellow polka dot borders… I loved the pink with the yellow so I added pink accent papers… and I picked up touches of the green and orange with my enamel dots and flowers. My touch of gold is the thin gold "love" washi tape.
Journaling reads: Until Maddie was 4 years old we babysat her every day while Cindy was at work We watched her grow from an infant to a toddler to a little girl, and we saw her learn to crawl and take her first steps. I took every opportunity to capture all her special moments, and the photo ops were endless. She very quickly got used to grandma's camera. Those moments together formed a bond with her that we still have today. Even now at 7 1/2 years old she still loves coming over and loves being with us. And we love being with her too!
