I heart dogs mini chalkboards
by blbabe1234Oct 5, 2016
*Graphic Design Challenge - B*
My DH used to work at a furniture store as an AutoCad designer and they'd have boxes of these little 3.5X3.5 wood samples. If an item was discontinued, they'd toss it out. While DH was there, he'd rescue the samples and bring them home. I use them for crafts here/there.
I tried painting them with chalkboard paint but they are way too glossy, even after sanding them. So I covered them in chalkboard washi tape and used a chalkboard marker to doodle/write "I" "heart/love" "Dogs". I attached them with some ribbon and added some ric rac so I can hang it up.
ribbon: Bo Bunny
chalkboard washi: Fancy Pants
chalkboard marker: EK Success
ric rac, wooden squares: from stash
