Journaling reads: "Dear Edele, You are the reason Daddy won't let me go to the cat café anymore. Because, the last time I went, I came home with you. Did we already have two cats and a dog? Yep. Was Daddy adamant that we not get any more pets? Absolutely. But, I fell head over heels for you. I had to make you part of our family. So, I did. And I have not regretted the decision once, and you know what? Neither has Daddy. I love you. Love, Mommy"

(P.S. - All three of our cats have names beginning with the letter "E", hence the misspelling of "acquiring" in the title.)
