Personal Story....Unbeknowst to me, Mom bought 2 rings many years ago to leave to me and my sister Kathy. They have Mom's Garnet birthstone in them. Kathy just gave me these after Mom passed. My ring is on the left. The one in the middle has a pink stone in it which was my oldest sister Linda's ring. Sadly she was killed in a car accident over 50 years ago. At first Mom wore the ring, but then it has been put away for many, many years. I took them all to a jeweler yesterday and got them cleaned. Kathy wants me to keep Linda's ring and pass it along with the other ring to my 2 daughters one day. I think she should enjoy it a bit and wear it. She'll pass the one on the right to her only daughter. (A special place in my heart for these precious gifts from Mom.)
