I love your take on the sketch - and the ripped paper is so apropos - like ripping off the paper to find you precious gift inside. We got a precious gift like that one year too - My DGD born the last night of Hanukkah 5 years ago. Beautiful page.

My DGD was due on Christmas day too - Likewise my daughter was pleased she decided to come a week early! 12/19 - and she shares a birthday with her great-grandmother too.
