Thank you Jolly Holly! My mom was a scrapbooker way back when; she glued photos into black-paged albums and labeled them with white ink! I've taken pictures of some of the pictures so I could play with them. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

I'm like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz -- my early life was in black and white, later life in color!! And surrounded by Munchkins. haha We didn't take as many photos back in the 50s and 60s, did we? I treasure the ones we do have. P.S. I went to the same barber as my brothers because it was easier for my mom!

nope -photos were reserved for holidays, birthdays, vacations and special occasions! Film cost money, developing it cost more, and there was never a guarantee that even one would come out!
