The woman who crashed into me was bat-poop bonkers. After hitting me, she ran around my car shouting “it’s my fault, it’s my fault….I’ll tell my insurance it’s my fault” then tried to convince me not to call my insurance company because she had savings. Then, after getting her insurance company on the phone, she wasn’t making any sense except to keep yelling it was her fault so I had to talk them to explain what happened.
The whole accident was Ironic. I was on my way from the body shop, feeling pretty chipper because I thought I had a scratched my car alongside a railing but the guy was able to just buff away the almost imperceptible marks. As I was turning left on to my street, a woman (stopped at the stop sign) decided to gun her car forward as I was making the turn. My guardian angel(s) were hard at work because had I been going any slower or not still in a turn position, she would have hit my door rather than the rear passenger door. Thank goodness for insurance because the total damage was $7k plus my 3 week rental.
