That was a lot of fun to make! This is actually one of the covers of the Page Frames clear album. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to complete the whole album, but I thought the covers would make cute hanging home decor projects. I'm going to hang this in Thomas's room for him.
The photo technique is one I used a long time ago on a layout for Thomas and I was reminded of it again when I saw it recently in Memory Makers Magazine on a layout by Lisa Tutman-Oglesby. You need two copies of a photo (I use one in b&w and one in color). I cut out the portion of the photo I want to pop out in the color photo. The technique works great with these Page Frames! The complete b&w photo is mounted under the acrylic with the larger piece of patterned paper. The cut-out color portion is on top of the acrylic and mounted with pop dots. Fun look!
Materials used:
Patterned papers: Imaginisce (Let's Pretend line)
Rub-ons: My Mind's Eye/Dee's Distressed (white numbers), Making Memories (white arrows and stars), Creative Imaginations (circle "Adored")
Chipboard star: Rusty Pickle
Star brad: Target
Ribbon: unknown
Thanks for looking!
