- Contests & Challenges

I did this layout for a Book Of Me challenge for New Yrs. Resolutions.

paper & cardstock from ScrapAddict kit.

Also:

Soft Spoken MAMBI sticker, phrases from Paper Pizzaz, Creative Imaginations letter stickers, a Fresh Cuts, and some ric rac, paper clip, brads, ink & chalk.

Here's my journaling:

"This year I don't have any resolutions to make. Instead I'm going to make a

few promises to myself. 1. To keep living life to the fullest, 2. To never give

up, and 3. To keep striving to get my health back. I decided several years ago

not to give in to the chronic illnesses that have changed me life. It would be

much easier to stay in bed, lie on the couch in front of the TV, or just take

enough medicine to stay asleep most of the time. I refuse to do any of those

things. I still get up every morning and do my best to take care of my home,

my family and my pets; run the errands when possible; cook and clean; stay

involved with scrapping doing Design Team work so I don't slack off; and

spend two hours a day out on my trails with my dogs. That's my promise to

myself for the coming year - - keep doing all those things, keep fighting, don't

take the easy way through life, but enjoy it to the fullest. I continue to hope

for the miracle that will restore my health, but if it never happens then I

haven't missed out on living my life in the meantime."

Thanks for looking,

Carolyn
