One of the things that I really like about digital is the ability to use tools to match colors. If you don’t have a solid background, use the eyedropper tool to select a color from anything…paper, elements, even a photo, then use the paint can tool to fill in the area with the shade you selected. You can also use this to create customized text like in the layout shown. I selected a shade of blue from the photo to color my journaling. After selecting the shade I wanted, I highlighted my journaling, clicked “Color” and then still using my eyedropper tool, selected the foreground color (top color) found underneath the icon bar on the left side.
