For the February Sketch Challenge-Scrapping with white space. This was a tough one because I kept wanting to cover up all that white space. I chose a picture that I had printed out in a faded sepia tone. I felt it would work better with a LO with a lot of white space rather than a colorful photo. I sanded the edges of the photo to distress it. I mixed up some acrylic paint until I got a color that matched the chevron paper, watered it down, then splattered it on the white space. Added inking on the edges of some of the paper to make it look a bit weathered, some cut-outs, a wood veneer arrow and some enamel dots.
