This is for the Scrap Your Name Challenge. I chose to scrap my Hawaiian middle name, which is Mapuana. It means " Wind-blown fragrance. " The journaling you see is a popular song in Hawaii. The hidden journaling reads:
My mother and my grandmother chose my middle name together, Mapuana. It is tradition in my family to give the children Hawaiian names to represent our Hawaiian heritage. I have always loved my middle name. It is unique and beautiful and makes me feel a little exotic.
