A Unique Style

by ScrappyDistractionsApr 10, 2016
This is for the April '16 Fashion challenge combined with the Supply List challenge.

My 16-yr old daughter loves everything late '80s/early '90s including the music, the grunge look, etc. She has always said she was born in the wrong decade. She also loves a bargain and frequently shops thrift stores and flea markets where she finds a lot of her clothes. The result is a very unique style. I gave up years ago suggesting alternative looks. She is who she is and I am proud she is unique and so comfortable in her own skin as to not worry about fashion trends (not to mention being so happy that her clothing expenses are a lot less than they could be!)

The dress form in the lower right is from Maya Road that I 'dressed up' with acrylic paint, paper, a ribbon, twine, and buttons
