This was one of the most difficult layouts I've done...not because it's complicated (it's not) but because it's of Angel.
I used Renae Lindren stickers - border stickers and 8x10 sheet - and her daisy paper. I just love her stuff. I was going to do a boy layout of Eli using her Boy Toy stickers, but found these instead.
The things we love include:
that happy smile
those slobbery kisses
her devotion and companionship
those big brown eyes
her gentle nature
how she just "knows" how you're feeling

This will go into Eli's book, so that he remembers why he likes dogs so much. Angel was a good friend for him and she gave him good feelings about dogs. [I didn't have the heart to write the journaling in the past tense...I just couldn't do it.]

Beautiful LO.. and reminds me of our Golden, Barney, who we lost 6 years ago... still miss him and MY STOMACH HURTS as well when I think about him being gone. I feel your pain and send you my well wishes.. Lovely, lovely way to remember your sweet, Angel, though.

It takes alot of courage to do a page like this only a short time after, but you did a great job, it looks beautiful, and you know that later you will look on this page your emotions will come flooding back everytime beacause of the love and feelings you had when you made it. Great work.

Strong?! No way. It makes my stomach hurt everytime I look at this picture. Seriously. It makes me miss her even more, but I've had this scrapping block and I had to do one of her pictures to prove that I can! We took this picture the week before she died and I remember it so well. Thanks, you guys.
P.S. the daisies made me think of Angel's mean aunties.
