For my May/June Graphic Design Challenge - to choose one of these ads and use it for inspiration. I chose the Chili's Free Dessert Ad to scrap this photo I took of Sky all cozy on her spot on the couch. This ad gave me so much inspiration. I liked the red background and the large black pan with the ice cream right in the middle, and my photo of Sky on the red pillow was perfect for it. And I really loved the white line art doodles. They gave me the idea of the different things that Sky might have been thinking and to scatter them in different white fonts against the red background, adding some fun doodles. Also, the one line of black type in the ad gave me the idea to add some black accents too. I pulled from a lot of different digi kits and had a lot of fun with it.
