You crack me up! At Christmas, you always ask for those cheesy discount store presents when you start seeing the commercials on television: The Clapper, the plug-in gadget that turns electrical devices on and off with a clap of the hands, The Ov-Glove, an oven mitt specially made to withstand high temperatures, and (of course) a Chia Pet. Chia Pets have been around since I was little, though I've never known anyone who actually owned one. This year we finally got you your long-desired Chia Pet. We chose the Chia Dinosaur (of course) and it was one of your favorite gifts on Christmas morning. Soon after Christmas, we planted the dinosaur and (just as the commercial says) watched it grow. Not a bad coat of foliage for first-time pet-owners!
