The other day, I was thinking about all of the things that my son does that (sometimes) bug me . . . don't get me wrong . . . but if you have kids you understand that sometimes you just want to be left alone for a while. Anyhow . . . I was thinking that I should probably cherish those things a bit more because someday he won't do them anymore (and then, of course, I will pine away for them!) Out of those thoughts and feelings was born this layout.

Journaling reads: Someday I won't wake up with you snuggled next to me. Someday you won't want to have conversation at bedtime. Someday you won't fight with daddy to hold my hand. Someday you won't want me to play Legos with you. Someday you won't loan me your stuffed animals. Someday you will be too big to fit in my lap. Someday you will read books to yourself. Someday you will grow up. I hope someday is a long way off.
