I'm on a roll with heritage lately w/my parents' WWII photos. I think this hat is so funny..I found one similar on Ebay...wish I had the money to bid on it! I've tried to pinpoint the time frame and believe this had to be late 1942 or early 1943 as both of them went to Will Rogers Field in OK in January; she became pregnant in Feb. and Daddy left to go overseas in May or June of 43.
