Pics I took of Maddie and her poems in her classroom earlier this week. Her class had a poetry celebration and it was just so adorable!
Journaling reads: Maddie’s first grade class had a poetry celebration at the end of the school year. They had been learning about poetry and had been writing their own poems for a while, and their teacher had them invite their parents and grandparents to come and hear their poetry. She had them each choose two of their poems to read, and one by one they each stood up and read their poems into the microphone. Cindy and I were so proud to see Maddie up there reading the wonderful poems that she wrote. Later on we got to see the papers the poems were on and how Maddie had illustrated them. How happy I was to have been there!
Papers and elements from these kits: School Days (Zoe Pearn), Off to School (Colie's Corner), All Year Round Twitterpations (Jady Day Studio and Traci Reed Collab), Back to Basics Neutrals Stamps (Jennifer Labre), and All Stitched Up (Jeanelle Paige)
