Journaling reads:<DIV>My love of boots comes naturally. I can NEVER remember my father wearing anything but cowboy boots. According to my mom, when they went on a cruise to St Thomas-the man wore boots to the captain's dinner. Classy, huh? When I got married to my 1st husband, I was terrified that my dad would show up with boots to wear with his suit(the 1st one of those he had owned in 30 years). Thankfully--logic and (maybe) love prevailed and he bought dress shoes to wear when he walked me down the aisle. I had boots while I was growing up--when it snows they are a requirement. But, somehow when I became an adult( and got divorced from the midget) I fell in love with boots. With heels and without. I have 2 pairs of the same style-one black, one brown. I have (GASP) cowboy boots! I have some "work" boots and I have some faux hiking boots. I haven't broken down and bought the combat boots yet---but they ARE looking good. I LOVE fall because I can start wearing my boots again. Ok----I also like spring because I can wear my cute sandals--but that's another story....... </DIV>

Nene...this is great journaling! Boots are awesome. I bought a pair once (and still have them), that were cute even though I have nothing to wear with them. I also have a black pair of cowboy boots that are so worn looking that people tell me to get new ones...but these are "worked in". Then there's the faux hiking boots... LOL I'm with you on loving boots!

Such an interesting page! Love the paper you choose, and the topic is so unusual...I love that you've done this. I need to include more pages like this in my scrapbooks.
