Oh my dear Kaitlyn - how I love to watch all of the
faces you make - sometimes they are silly, sometimes
happy, sometimes serious. No matter what they are,
I love every single one of them.

Sometimes I just sit and watch you while you’re
working on something or concentrating really hard.
It brings joy to my face to see your amazement and
wonder when you discover something new or
realize you can do something that you couldn’t
before.

You are such a happy child - so full of life and love.
You are kind and full of lots of energy. I wouldn’t
change a thing about you. In a few weeks, you’ll
be going off to school, and I’ll get to see another
face - possibly fear or apprehension or maybe
just pure excitement. Whatever it is - I’ll be
right there with you!
