my scraplift lo...what turtle?

Wags..DT..lo

scraplift challenge...what turtle?
by TheFiberLadyApr 1, 2006
of course another one made with all basic grey baby boy papers. lol. This is my sister, bil and one of my neices at a petting zoo in northern wisconsin
I scraplifted this lo by wags. i had to turn it because i didn't want to cut my bil off with the strip so now it's just cutting off their feet and ankles lol. and i had to move my journal box the other way and switch places with the monogram so i didn't cut my neice off but still pretty close to the original
i have those little wiggle eyes in the holes of my title letters and also along side of my "Z" monogram for "Zoo" adorned with prima flowers and some "bling"
i got the scalloped effect on the edge from using blue metallic embossing powder and heat embossing it.
the holey strip is just a strip from the bg line and i used my eyelet hole maker to punch out the centers of the circles. and added the second little circle on the right side and threaded fiber to hook the circle and the strip together.
The journaling reads:
Wildwood Petting Zoo
Labor Day Weekend
2004
We all spent the weekend up at John and Mickey's cabin in Mercer, Wisconsin.
We no sooner got into the petting zoo and Pam had to pick up this huge turtle, I had to hurry to take the picture because she said it was really heavy lol.
