My DH is not given to "romance" as many people think of it. Most of the time I can easily remember that true love isn't necessarily romantic love. But at this time of year there is that little tinge that naggingly whispers that I do want "The Grand Gesture" of flowers, candlelit dinner, romantic music, some yummy chocolate, and yes, a glittery bit of jewelry. I'll shout that whisper down with patient, kind, hard-working, protective, etc.
