by Oneway-MindyApr 2, 2005

The first layout is of the Lincoln Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial. They are so beautiful and especially at dusk when the sun is just going down.

The second layout is of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial that is the second newest memorial in DC. Since Roosevelt and his wife loved water, the entire memorial is done is this beautiful fountains with his quotes or life facts carved into the stones.

The third layout is of the places where Lincoln was shot (Ford's Theatre) and the place they took Lincoln afterwards and where he died.

The fourth layout is a combination of the Veteran's Memorial (The Wall) and Iwo Jima. The name that has the feather's by it is a fellow Marine of my father's. He asked me to get an etching, but the name was way to high on the wall. The feathers are because my father used to call this man "Chief" so he asked me to place feathers by his name.
