For my October Music Challenge - to get inspiration from any song about driving, road trips, or anything having to do with cars. The song title "Running on Empty" was perfect inspiration for me to scrap these pics and tell this story about Maddie pushing Aiden up the driveway as his little car was running out of power. I really had a lot of fun with this. The fuel gauge element had the red needle pointing close to full and I altered it so it would point to almost empty. There were also some blank sign elements in the kit so I added the words "Out of Power" to one of them and added a question mark to a blank speed limit sign.

Journaling:
One summer afternoon at Cindy and Eric's, Aiden was having fun riding the little red car that had been Maddie’s when she was little. He had been driving it up and down the road for a while when it suddenly started running out of power. Aiden decided to try and make it up the driveway before the power gave out, so there he was at the end of the driveway as the car basically slowed to a crawl. It was so funny when Maddie went over and started to push him up the driveway, helping the car along while on it was struggling on its last bit of power.
