We've made it to February! Spring is right around the corner, right!? This month is chock full of hearts and pink and lovey dovey stuff and we here at ACOT can't think of a better way to express how much you love someone than by creating something homemade for them! Journal your sweet nothings, memorialize their beautiful faces, and craft something sweet for all the Valentine's in your life!
Remember:
– only one LO per challenge will enter you into the points drawing
– LOs cannot be entered into more than one challenge category
– *please* only enter LOs that meet the specific challenge instructions
Ad Inspiration Challenge – By MamaK321 (Kristianne)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
Ad inspiration is about taking ideas, such as colors, patterns, title or keywords, theme, font styles, and element placement, and using them to create your own layout. You can break the ad inspiration down to a basic sketch, copy a prominent design straight from the ad, or you can alter a design to fit your own layout. Most ads are 8.5×11" but you can adapt the ad to fit any size. Remember, this is not a sketch and you are not required to follow every detail. You can use either one or both pages of this ad to inspire your layout. The key is to really LOOK at the ad and find the pieces that INSPIRE you!

Paper or Hybrid Scrapbooking

Card Challenge – By bluejeans7 (Angela)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
Create a Valentine's Day card without using any hearts! Remember no hearts allowed! LOL!

Color Challenge – by Art_Teacher (Laura)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
To me, the colors red and brown are yummy! They make me think of Valentine's Day and of my favorite treat, chocolate! So, your challenge for this layout is to create a layout using red and brown. It can be any shade of brown, from tan to deep mocha. You may use other neutral accent colors (white, black, grey, cream), but no other colors (except in your photos).

Countdown Challenge – By sarahwhithers (Jennifer)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
For this challenge you will create a layout using a countdown method of items. I will list five different kinds of things (eg. elements, papers, photos) for you to use in your layout. Every month there will be five new items for you to use. And for this month, the theme is love of course! I want to see a page about someone or something you love. It can be a person, pet, a food or even a hobby!
5 – Heart elements
4 – Ribbons and/or Strings
3 – Lines of Journaling
2 – Flower and/or leaf elements
1 – Template or sketch
You are welcome to use more than these items (eg. 2 journal strips instead of 1 is fine) just as long as you meet the required list and numbers asked for each. An example is seen below.

Die Cut Challenge – By Dianedi (Diane)
Paper Scrapbooking
For the month of February, create a card or layout that uses hearts that are created using a die-cut machine! Please indicate the machine (Cricut, Silhouette, etc…) and cartridge that you've used to create your project! Have fun!

Digi CT Reveal Challenge – By Janello (Janell)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
For the month of February your challenge is to take inspiration from the "Wintry White with a Splash of Color" reveal and create a layout with a mostly white background and splashes of your choice of either 1. blue, 2. brown and black, or 3. the combo of aqua, pink, and brown. See this reveal article for more inspiration. Open to digi, hybrid, and paper scrappers!

February Faithbooking Challenge: Joy
What brings you joy? Is it seeing how your children are growing physically, emotionally and spiritually? Is it the pleasure you find in reading scripture? Or in cuddling up with your beloved, or even your furbaby?
What is joy? As Sheila Seifart wrote: "Although happiness and joy can be present at the same time, happiness is based on material things or events.. Joy, on the other hand, is from God and runs deeper – it can be present even during unhappy times." ("What is Joy?", www.thrivingfamily.com)
http://www.thrivingfamily.com/family/fa … n/joy.aspx
I remember from Sunday School being taught that true joy is found when we put things and people in the priority in life. JOY is spelled Jesus, Others, and then You.
Romans 15:13 – "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Proverbs 15:30 – "A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones."
Galatians 5:22-23 – "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

Heritage Challenge – By JanetM (Janet)
Paper AND Digital Scrapbooking
I thought this might be a perfect month to get out a picture of your parents, grandparents or someone from the past and do a layout about love.
Any color or size and I look forward to seeing the heritage pictures.

Hybrid Challenge – By Smiley-Scrap8 (Ronny)
Paper AND Digital Scrapbooking
February Hybrid Challenge: Make any kind of card using as many digital supplies as possible. For example I used the "I Didn't Do It" kit by Sweet Digi Scraps to make these invites to my son's 5th birthday party. All the paper and elements are from that kit. The only supplies that are not digital are the kraft paper the card base is on and the stickles I add for a little sparkle. Be creative and stretch yourself.

Journaling Challenge – By Jenn Kellams (Jenn)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
Although there are tons of things that make me happy, it is really hard to pinpoint 10 specific things you are forcing yourself to do it. I decided to make this journaling challenge all about a list. No paragraphs here please. List a minimum of 10 things that make you happy. Oh and don't forget to smile while doing it!
