KaiserCraft’s Up, Up and Away

For this reveal I got to work with KaiserCraft's yummy Up, Up and Away line. After working with bright summer papers for the past couple of months it was a nice change to slide into the more muted colors.

A great way to use journaling tags even if you are not journaling is to layer them like you would any patterned paper. It adds fun dimensional angles to your page. For the layout above, I used four tags and layered them under and over parts of my photo. I then placed different parts of my title on each.

Cole and his grandparents have a long standing tradition of making heart shaped waffles whenever they are together. I so wanted to get a picture but completely did not think about the background while I was taking it. My focus on this page was to try to put a lot of elements to one side as to draw away for the busy background of the picture, while still keeping focus on the actual reason for taking the picture.

For this next layout I used ONLY rubs-ons and some alphabets. It was fun to cut and layer and move them all around. I love that they came in color AND black and white, each with some of the same elements and some that differed, making it very easy to mix them all together yet keeping the theme throughout.

Kaisercraft has the most amazing pearls. So many of them in one package and I LOVE the multiple sizes. Here I lined three different colors and sizes and I still have a lot left over from each one. Now that is cool!
