I have been using VB Foundations paper for many years-almost as long as it’s been around. I love it so much that when I purchase it, it’s usually no less than 5-6 pads at a time. I was low and decided to stock up. Upon opening one of the pads, I grabbed my ink mists and water and was ready to create. Well, to my surprise and disappointment, the mists and water quickly absorbed and bled through. This had never happened with this cardstock…in fact it’s one of the high selling points for me! I tested paper from 4 pads and they all did the same. I’m a heavy mixed-media scrapper and without the ability to hold media with slow absorption it’s pretty much useless. The weight of the paper doesn’t make up for the lack of ability to no longer hold wet media. The paper pads are pricey, and honestly after contacting American Crafts about this huge problem…I can’t say that I’ll ever have trust in buying this brand again. This is absolutely no reflection on ACOT! I love this place, and their customer service has been top-notch whenever I shop here!

Durable stock that will hold up to all kinds of liquid media. My only disappointment is that the papers are perforated, which means there will be a rough edge when torn from the pad. Other than that, an awesome product I'll want to buy again.
