Let’s Get Punchy!

Hello fellow scrappers, I have a confession to make…I am a PUNCHAHOLIC! Yes, you heard it here first. I have a ton of punches and each new one I get I keep thinking, okay that is enough. Only to find myself purchasing another one. However, to my husbands great relief they DO get used a TON by me, unlike some other things that I tend to **cough cough** hoard.

With the addition of border punches, all AROUND the page punches and all OVER the page punches a whole new look can be created on your pages. Punches are totally versatile and wonderful tools and when ACOT has great sales like buy two get one free, it is easy to stock up quickly and honestly for me hard to resist!

On the page below I used one of Martha Stewart's all around the page punches! Wow, those things are awesome and so easy to line up and use! Make sure to punch your corners first and then work from there! I also used her circle punch to create a background for the quote I used.

Oh how I love me some HARRY POTTER! All the magic and wonder. When I saw the all OVER the page punch, I immediately thought of a stardust trail, like one might see coming from a wand, so when I got back from Harry World, I could not wait to sprinkle stardust all over my page. This punch is great because you can use it anywhere on the page and you can also use both the negative and positive punch parts.

The scalloped punched I used below on my puppy layout is one of my favorite for its versatility. For example in this layout, I layered the white cardstock punched pieces and then used silver stickles on each one to show where they are layered. I also used it on the girly layout below that one. This time, I used double sided paper and punched two different rows, one with a pattern and one with a solid and layered them for a cool effect.
