March Cherry Box Projects
By Rachel and Jess
Welcome back to the blog! Today I’m sharing some of the projects Rachel and I (Jess) created using the March Cherry Box! I think this box is just beautiful and we’ve had a lot of fun creating with it so far. Watch the video below as we unbox this Cherry Box and create some projects with it!
When I was sorting through all of the papers in the Simple Life collection, this page really stood out to me, it’s so pretty! So I used it to document a photo of my grandma holding me. This page came together really quickly and is much simpler than my typical scrapbook page, but I loved that simplicity and open space. This paper really made it easy for me. I used one of the photo frames to frame my photo which helped it stand out from the floral background.

Rachel and I actually created very similar layouts this month, which is pretty funny because we normally have very different crafting styles.
Rachel used one of the 12×12 stencils from the box to create a background for her photo using Distress Black Soot ink. She created the title with the alpha stamps that are included in the box to create a hand-lettered look without having to know how to hand letter!
I love how this card turned out. It’s so simple with just a few pieces of ephemera on black paper, but yet so pretty!
Here’s another example of how beautiful these ephemera pieces are on a black background in an art journal.
Hopefully, this gives you some ideas to start using this box when you get it! Subscribe before February 25th to receive the March Cherry Box!
