Weekly Sketch Challenges

Need some crafty inspiration? Every week we post brand new sketch challenges for you and a chance to win Cherry Points! We have a scrapbook layout sketch, a card sketch, and an art journal sketch. Most weeks have a fun theme! (Check out past sketches in our project gallery here.)

Every Thursday we will post the new sketches, and you will have a week to complete them and post into our project gallery. When submitting your project, you’ll need to click the link that says “Add Submission to Contests/Challenges”. You won’t see this option until after you add your photos. Then check the appropriate box for which challenge you’re submitting to. (More detailed instructions here!)

Post your finished project(s) by 11:59pm Eastern on Wednesday August 27th, 2025. One random winner of each sketch challenge will be awarded 1000 Cherry Points, while all other participants will receive 100 points. Try one challenge or try them all!

This week’s theme is a lot of layering! I also worked backwards and started with a layout I already made, then made that into a sketch! From there I used some of the same elements to make the card and art journal sketches too.
