Finally getting around to drawing my winner. Back to school has been hectic!  Randomly drawn winner is Retiree3!  PM me with your address and I will send you a little prize.

I can't believe it is August, already!  Not only is my summer break about over, but we are almost 2/3 of the way through this year!  Seems like I just got used to writing 2026 on things. LOL  Anyway, your Mood Board challenge for this month is below.  It's still summer, so this one provides some tropical vibes.   You must use the color scheme of turquoise and orange (no other colors, except neutrals, please), and 3 additional inspirations from the mood boards.  You may use items from only one board or combine them.   Please let us know what your inspirations were.





You have until midnight, August 31st to upload your layout into the gallery spot I've provided to be entered into the prize drawing.  
Layouts only, but any size will do. 
Must be a new layout.
Can be combined with one other challenge that allows combining, plus those with multiple prompts (30- Prompt, 100 Pages, Team challenges, etc.)

Orange/turquoise, butterflies, orange flowers, saying provided. Flowers and butterflies are gel glitter pens and the card really sparkles in person.

This color combo was perfect for these photo of my daughter from the prom. I was inspired by the woman dressed up, the repeated shape pattern on the bag of oranges, the necklace, and the slinky (the entire background is all hexagons even though you can't see them all), and the flowers. Thanks!

I was inspired by the wood (tree),  the basket of flowers (there is little basket I tried to make under the cluster on the right,  flowers, butterflies and the orange leaves.

The inspiration was the quote in the middle of layout, the slinky inspired the spiral “stitches” on the photos, the twine at the top was inspired by the rope, and the gems were inspired by the bracelet.

Here's my take! Loved this mood board and the second I saw it I knew what I was going to use the orange locker paper for that I had purchased awhile back! I took inspo from the first board- round beads in the top right, woodgrain under the bowls at the bottom and flowers! My inspiration was the slinky for the spiral circle above the photos, butterflies, and the mixed media from the photo with the quote.  Submitted for the weekly sketch challenge 490.

I tried posting this in the Mood Board folder but I'm not sure if it went in.  My three inspirations were the circlular beads/ circle sticker, the slinky /the ride that we were riding is kind of slinky like, the rounded corners of the bowl/ rounded corners of my journal box.
