What's In Your Wallet?

This is the last of my challenges so have fun!  I will load in 2 parts to make it easier to refer to while creating.
It's a folding brag wallet that's perfect for Mother's Day, Father's Day or any occasion for sharing photos.  It's quick, easy peasy, fun and uses up scraps.

HERE ARE THE GUIDELINES - Please read carefully.  If you have questions, please post in this thread.
1.  Only ONE entry per cherry and must be new for this challenge.
2.  Post completed projects in this thread. 
3.  NO COMBINING with any other NSD or message board challenge except for the 25 item challenge.
4.  Deadline is May 15th, midnight, EST.

Supplies:
Paper Trimmer
Adhesive
Scissors
Cardstock 12" x 12" - 2 different complimentary colors
Scraps of Patterned Paper that coordinate with the cardstock
White plain or lined scrap paper to be used for journal blocks



STEP 1:  Cut your cardstock as follows. 

Choose 1 color as the outer cover for your wallet and cut a 4" x 11" piece. (10.2 x 27.9 cm)

Cut a 1"x 8" (2.5 x 20.3 cm) piece to be used as the belly band to hold the wallet closed.

Take the second cardstock color and cut 3 panels 7 1/2"x 2 3/4" (19.1 x 7cm).

STEP 2:  Score your cardstock as follows.

Score the 4" x 11" (10.2 x 27.9) cover piece at 1 3/4" (4.4cm), 2"(5.1 cm), 5"(12.7cm) and 8"(20.3 cm).

Score the 3 pieces of cardstock measuring 7 1/2" x 2 3/4" (19.1 x 7 cm) in half at 3 3/4" (9.5cm).

This is what your cardstock should look like.



STEP 3:
Turn the outside cover vertically so that the short flap is at the top.

Adhere the 3 inside panels so that they open in alternating directions.



STEP 4:  Journal Blocks
Cut 3 journal blocks measuring 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (6.4 x 8.9 cm).
Adhere down the center with the side flaps open.

This is great!  I may make several in addition to the one for this challenge!  I'm sharing Mothers Day with a Godmother, a lovely woman who never had children, and a first time mother.

I made the wallet into a brag book for hubby. He loved it! His hobby is photography and he has been busy photographing birds. Every spot inside the wallet contains a photo. I was able to include 10 photos, 2.5 x 3.5".  

      
The Wallet is completely opened in the last wallet picture. The other photos as seen above in wallet pictures 4 and 5, are simply attached to the back sides of those in the last wallet picture.

Thanks for this amazing challenge!!!  Your idea was fantastic (and just in time for Mother's Day) and the directions were so easy to follow.

I made a Great-grandma brag book for my MIL with pics of my grandkids as well as her other great-grands (my nieces and nephews were awesome at getting me pics of their kids to include!).  Because she is semi-disabled (aren't most people at 95?) I changed it up a little to made it easier for her use by placing all the photos together in the center facing the same direction with a single journal block for their names and DOBs (omitted for privacy in photos).





Now I want one for myself!!!​​​​​​

This was an amazing challenge and craft! I was intimidated by it so I didn't do it till today, was saving it for last in the challenges lol. But it was fun and your instructions were spot on! TY!

I had intended to do another theme but have had this collection never used and I really wanted to use it for this so I do not have photos in the wallet yet.
