does your town/neighborhood have an ice cream truck???

on Sundays our town does.....a lil Hispanic man who drives from a neighboring lil town  he is so fun!
just as my time spot was starting I could hear he was in our neighborhood......I was hoping an praying DH wasn't going to ask me to go out and get him something...LOL

Yes!  Although I don't know their schedule, it's hit or miss.  When my kids were little geesh when I heard it I knew what was coming, but I don't pay much attention to it anymore.  They come rarely though.

I only hear him every few months. Not sure why, there are quite a few kids on the street. Heck, I know adults including me that would go out.

Nope, don't think I've ever bought anything from an ice cream truck. If DQ would start sending trucks around, I would be in trouble!

Oh how I WISH!!!!  ::)  I live on a semi remote island in a somewhat remote community/town.  We're 25 miles from the nearest store (over a mountain pass) and 35 miles from were we get our packages!  The only thing they deliver out here is the fuel for our heater!    We don't even have a zip code!!!  Our physical address doesn't show up on GPS or in anyone's system but we are on Google Earth!    It's beautiful here and there's no traffic and we love it!

In past years we have had one, but I haven't heard it yet this year. Too much cold and rain so far this Spring.

nope! and i miss that little truck with it's music coming through my neighborhood n the summer.

Our town had one that came in the summertime, but now the store's parking lot where it used to park has been torn up for new development... so we shall see what happens in a couple months, if they find a new spot or not.

Yes, we have a Mr. Softy.  He doesn't come often but occasionally.

Not on my street - but I'm not sure if there are any that go around to the developments (I'm on a busier main street that has no parking or shoulders so it would be dangerous).

I do have a soft serve/Italian ice place about a block away though.

growing up there was a local ice cream truck but now my kids get to enjoy the HAWAIIAN ICE TRUCK! We can hear the tropical music blasting from across town and we all scramble to find cash and run outside as fast as we can! It is such an awesome simple pleasure watching my little ones dancing on the sidewalk with purple and red stained lips in the summer heat
