Scrap a Day, October 6th
Hey Cherries. Another gorgeous day here. Sunny and going to 77 degrees. I can’t believe I’ve been having open windows in October! It’s crazy but I love it! Laundry today but first I have to run out for a bit this morning. Once home I have a bunch of things to catch up on in the house. I made another card yesterday for one of the challenges and hope to sneak in another one today. Didn’t get to try embossing powder yet but I intend to get to that soon.

Have a great day Cherries.

Beautiful weather for sure, Barb!  I'll be crafting today and working on some challenges for WCMD.  Didn't get much done over the weekend.  Hope everyone had a great week!

Re: Scrap a Day, October 6th
Good Morning Cherries!  It's the first official day of fall break here - and it's going to be in the mid 80's today!!  Where's my fall weather???  Laundry and some other things around the house today... I've started making a list of all the places I need to go, things I need to pick up while I'm out when I finally get around to errands.  This round of sickness has lingered a little longer and I'm not quite ready to leave the house just yet.

I'm hoping that once I get stuff done around the house today, I can sit and play in my scrappy space.  There's a lot of challenges I want to try this month!  I had a dream last night that I rearranged part of my scrapbook room and it was pretty nice.... looking to see if it's actually doable because I think that it would help with the flow if I could manage to get it rearranged that way!

Hope you all have a wonderful start to the week!!

The fall weather has reached Montana.  We had our first frost last night!  It was a whole 33F when I was out walking earlier. But the sun is shining. Actually some snow flakes coming down yesterday. And lots of snow in the mountains. We had a great evening with family and friends last evening to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving. Just finished cleaning up my kitchen and have a  load of sheets in the washer .   And tomorrow we celebrate the minion’s birthday! Busy busy!

Happy Monday!

Sunny and 85 here today.  Sinus headache and crabby disposition this morning.  Nothing going on but pellet stove repair guy coming this afternoon.  Hibernation is sounding good right now.

Have a decent Monday.

Re: Scrap a Day, October 6th
Good afternoon! DH's liver surgery is scheduled for Friday and we will be heading down to a hotel where we will both stay overnight and I will stay while he is recovering. I am a nervous wreck but I know he will be at one of the best hospitals in the world.

So if that wasn't stressful enough, our Phillies lost Saturday night, our Eagles lost yesterday and when DH went to the garage this morning, part of our ceiling had fallen on our car. Our car appears to be okay but I think we will need to have the entire ceiling replaced.

To keep my mind occupied, I am starting to pack some scrappy supplies to take with me. I'm trying to pack lightly so I'm cutting up some papers for some of the challenges.

We are having beautiful weather also - doors and windows are open and the sun is shining!  God must be looking down at us.

Re: Scrap a Day, October 6th
Hello Cherries!!! 🍒

We’re still having lots of rain. This is somewhat typical October weather. Just getting a LOT more heavy rain than usual. Need to check the rain gauge to see how much is there. It’s gotten chilly enough that we need the wood stove running all the time now. No freeze yet and no snow on the mountains yet. Fingers crossed it waits a long while before we get that with all the moisture in the air!

I made 3 more cards yesterday for the challenges. Not sure if I’ll even try to get all of them done. I need to clean up before I start making more. I make such a HUGE mess when I make cards! Lolol!

Hope everyone is having a good Monday!!!

I have been in and out here recently and did not see he was having surgery. Please know that you are both on my daily prayer list. Sending you all good thoughts.  (((Hugs))) . Sorry about the games and the ceiling.

Re: Scrap a Day, October 6th
Hi all. I have missed being here. Busy busy at school...still have not hit that happy groove yet where it just flows. We'll get there.  Me and hubby decided to go two hours away this weekend for a little mini getaway and it was great to just not think about work for a while and enjoy the beach and time together.  Counted up how many pages this 36 hour trip will be ......12!!!! I know, it's a bit much but it's fun!!  Hoping to be back to scrapping very soon. I could do some tonight when I finish these vocabulary cards but it's Mahomes Monday around here  🏈
