Hey Cherries. It’s a sunny 66 degrees headed for 73. The kids have been here since yesterday afternoon. Miss JJ is a bundle of energy. Last night she said she was tired, yet she was in full power mode right up until she went to bed. I wish I had half her energy. She’s up and totally refueled for another busy day. Lol.

Nothing going here today -- yet.  I've got butter on the counter softening to room temperature so I can bake a batch of cookies for my mom.  It was chilly this morning, so it's probably got a couple more hours to go yet.  Other than that, I've got no plans for the day!

sheesh monday came FAST  LOL

we are in NW TX early fall mode....cooler mornings but still high 80's to mid 90's  im ever so ready for my AC bill to go DOWN so we can quit limping along til payday at the end of the month....sigh

i am on the struggle bus with the BF challenge so i need to try and figure that out today.....only have one kiddo  and she is an easy one today....the others are all sick with something....tis the season  so today will be a pretty quiet and easy day thank goodness!  i do need to dash out and get chicken feed and a few groc at some point today

im hoping to finish the BF and work on at least one more this evening   i also need to hide the lil stack of newer pics so i quit grabbing them and focus on the 2021 pics sitting here....weeeeeeeee

OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. We were in the upper 90s/lower 100's ALL freakin' weekend. I don't think my ac shut off at all. And that front y'all are getting will stall north of me. Boo!

Beautiful day here to at 70 degrees with a high of 76 today.  We worked in the flower beds this morning and cleaned out one side getting ready for next year.   Those grandkids keep us going too!

Ugh. I am NOT a morning person and I’ve been up since 6:45am! Contractors were supposed to b here by 8. Dummies went out to breakfast and were 45 minutes late. Grumble grumble . Ugh hate the disruption of my very quiet everyday existence. lol. Oh well

Going to try and make a couple cards today but it’s demolition day so who knows what that will b like. Tomorrow will b abatement day if they find any mold or other crud like that. I’m sure all will b ok but sure are noisy.

Good morning cherries! A busy day for DH and a semi-busy day for me. I'm just testing out some new code that I spent most of last week researching. Just making sure its all correct.

Jasper has his pre-op appt today and later, I'll know more of what time his surgery will be tomorrow and if they'll need me to watch Draven and Wesley Wednesday.

Beautiful day here!  We had a thunderstorm yesterday evening, so our new grass seed did not need watered today.  We pulled summer annuals from one of the flower beds this morning and will work on the other this week.  The old backs don't take as much as they used to.  I will be finishing up my BF LO and posting it later this afternoon.  So happy to get it done!

Yum! Love both.  I have my grandmother's recipe for thumbprint cookies.  Do you use jelly or icing?  She always put different colors of icing in hers.  I get walnuts from a local Amish store that sells at an extremely reasonable price.

Remember when I told you all to send me some of your rain....well. don't need it anymore.  We got some freak thunderstorms and massive downpours a couple days ago.  Now I just need everything to dry out since we discovered some leaks in the roof during the storm.  We need to replace this roof before winter sets in.  But we're still waiting on Brads life insurance.  Carrie, we have the same issue with our electrical bill.  

I have some scrapping to do today.  More great grandbaby pics and some for GS's Air Force album.  I put this last page in the memory album I did for Brad.  So glad I have all these wonderful memories scrapped.

Just ran some errands and now that I am home will go for my walk.  It is gorgeous out in the Intermountain west.  Cool morning and headed for 80 today.  It's going to be a perfect week for my grandkids homecoming week!!!  I think the colour fun run is tonight.  The nine year old is home sick with a sore throat.  Hope he doesn't share with the rest of them.  
No big plans for today.
