What does it take for you to get your scrap on? What gets your scrappiness flowing when you are in a scrappy slump? Choose one of the options below that would help you to get scrappy.
Option #1
Does your favorite manufacturer get your creative juices flowing?
For this option, scrap a layout using your favorite manufacturer and ONLY your favorite manufacturer. You may ONLY USE ITEMS FROM THE MANUFACTURER THAT YOU CHOOSE, the only exception being that you may use a solid cardstock and an alpha from another manufacturer. Every other thing on the layout MUST be from the one manufacturer that you choose, and you may mix their collections.
Option #2
Does scrap lifting another Cherry help you get scrappy?
For this option, scrap lift another Cherry’s layout from here in our gallery. THE LAYOUT YOU LIFT MUST BE A LAYOUT FROM OUR A CHERRY ON TOP GALLERY. Please post the layout that you scrap lifted along with your layout. I must be able to see the inspiration of the other Cherry’s layout in your scrap lift.
Option #3
Does getting messy bring out your creativity?
For this option, pull out your paints, inks, stencil butters, pastes or whatever medium you like to mess with and create a layout using them. POST A PICTURE OF THE MESS YOU GOT YOURSELF INTO ALONG WITH YOUR LAYOUT. Get those fingers messy, and show me a layout that proves to me that you got yourself in a mess!
For me, it is all about my favorite manufacturer, Doodlebug. I can pull out my huge Doodlebug stash and immediately get inspired to start scrapping. Everything on my layout below, except for the black cardstock, is from Doodlebug. The papers, the trims, the pizzas, the sprinkles, the twine, the puffy hearts, the stickers, the word art… even the journal card is from a very, very old Doodlebug collection that came with punch out journal cards! Pic is of my Twinkie and Sky playing with a cute pizza stuffy that I got Twinkie for her birthday. Every time I see them pick it up I think of the Little Ceasar's commercial where he says "Pizza Pizza". Lol.
