[The Scrap Attack]

Hi everyone! Big news in the Swiftieverse just dropped yesterday. Taylor was able to buy back the masters for her first 6 studio albums that were sold out from under her years ago. She stated on her website, "All the music I've ever made...now belongs to me."

In honor of Taylor finally getting all of her music back, this month's challenge is to pick one of her CDs portrayed below and create a page inspired by it. Use the color palette and whatever else speaks to you!



An example below is inspired by the album from 1989 Taylor's Version. I used blue and white along with seagulls!


And here is one inspired by the original Fearless album using lots of gold and some hearts.

I've been fighting myself to jump in on this, I admire her, not her music (guess it's my age). I can do this one for sure though.

Great challenge. I went with this CD of her standing next to the tree lined lake.  Combined with 2-4-6-8 Challenge.

My inspiration is the Speak Now CD with all the purples.

I did this for the Brutus Monroe Design Team using the Happy Birthday release, and I Based this on the Taylor Swift song "22"  and album art from "Lover" .  I made this layout as "Taylor-esque" as I possibly could actually.

Here is my art journal inspired by the warm tones and the black edge of the Fearless CD. The paper and paints have a gold shimmer but it’s hard to capture on a cell phone camera.

I was inspired by the "Red" cd.

I used the Red CD for inspiration because of the colors and Taylor is doing her hat/hair.

My LO is inspired by the album from 1989 Taylor's Version.

I picked the Lover album because it was so colorful. I interpreted it by using the splashes of pink, blue, and green in the artwork. I tried to float the hearts like the clouds on the CD. I also used this layout for the Manufacturer's W/Twist challenge.

I was inspired by the "Lover" CD.  The clouds in my sunset paper and the colors seemed similar.  Also, the silver metal, and the overall feel of it.

I was inspired by the Midnight album - the blue reminded me of blue vellum.

I chose Midnights and went with the blue and white colors and added in the clock detail.

I chose the Red CD with the white background, red stripes, and red title. Combined with Weekly Card Sketch 30.
