Welcome to the 26th month of this challenge, I actually thought about ending this challenge after this last one but then caught a second wind. I am not sure how many more months this will run but it has been fun so far. Never thought it would last two years and I feel like this two year period has completely flown by!! I have LOVED everyone's layouts and their take on the challenges, some of the stories shared have really touched my heart and I believe that is what this challenge is all about - telling OUR stories. After a conversation with my 22 year old son (now 24) about a certain event, it occurred to me that we, the scrappers are usually behind the camera and often fail to scrap ourselves - this is a means to remedy that. We all have pictures of ourselves that we are not fans of...your kids don't care!!! That was the lesson of that conversation.
Sooooo....in light of that, this challenge is to get YOU in your albums, your kids albums, your grandkids albums, they want to see YOU!!!
I really cannot believe that it is already September. I swear I just took the Christmas stuff down!! This month I will celebrate my baby boy turning 25!!! He's not a baby anymore. Time has gone so quickly. So....since this challenge is about getting yourself into the family albums, I want you to dig out a childhood picture of yourself and create a page. My examples are various ages, but you can use anything up to the age of 18.
Make a layout about YOU and YOUR younger days. Maybe a baby picture, a school age picture, a dance picture, studio portraits, any picture of you under 18. Remember these challenges are meant to give your family a glimpse into who YOU are.
Challenge requirements - make a layout about YOUR childhood days!!!. There must be a picture of JUST YOU on the layout.
