Hey Cherries. I went to Lowe’s and Home Depot yesterday and bought lots and lots of flowers. I also did a propane gas tank exchange and am going to get my BBQ uncovered and ready to go. I have my work cut out for me for sure. Once I finish in the front and get in the back I will take out the doggie pool for the girls. It’s another gorgeous day.
I basically finished the MMC layout that I’ve been working on and will get it posted before I start my outside adventures. lol.
Have a great day Cherries.
Happy Saturday, Barb! Enjoy the out of doors, but don’t over do. Our brains tell us we can do it! Our bodies not so much.pawprints wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2026 9:46 amHey Cherries. No big plans for today. Need to get out and walk. Suppose to be a little cooler today- in the 70’s. Perfection.
The younger grands ended their school year yesterday and we headed to DQ. Ice cream and lunch for those that needed it.
Next week starts chauffeuring for a couple of weeks to summer music for the middle schooler. My sister in FL secured flights to visit and escape the heat and humidity.
Hope everyone enjoys their day, rain in the forecast for here.

3 grad parties today will keep us moving. LOL They are all over the place, too, so I hope the time I spend in the car doesn't undo all the progress on my back healing. But, these are some really special kiddos, and I just can't ignore their invitations.
It is supposed to rain today (is starting right now), but hopefully, it clears up for them this afternoon!
Have a great weekend, cherries!

Hi cherries. Remembering the Best Dog that ever lived today. This morning last year, I didn't know that after spending the day in San Antonio for my uncle's Celebration of Life, that after we got home, we would only have 3 hrs with Penny Lane.

When I took the pups outside to potty this morning, I was greeted by "Squirrely", in the big oak tree. And every day this week, except yesterday, a red cardinal visited me in the office window.
Staying home today. DH is doing yard work and truck stuff. I'm doing laundry. Got dishwasher unloaded already and we had breakfast. Need to put away some work papers and vacuum my office. The rest of the day planning on being spent in my scrap room. I'm inspired by all 3 MMC challenges, so planning on getting started on those. Not quite sure what I'll scrap, but I'll soon figure it out.

Jeez. 97 and sweltering yesterday and only 85, breezy and overcast. lol. The long range outlook is for a couple days at 100+ in about a week!!!
Nothing much happening today. Trip to the grocery and younger DS coming over for dinner tonight. Got a challenge done and posted yesterday.
A side note for history buffs. 62 years ago today on June 6, 1944, American troops and their allies landed on the beach in Normandy and began the fight to take the world back from the nazis!
. PS yep I’m a history buff type person! lol
Have a super Saturday.

Hey Cherries!!!
Another grey cloudy day. We got a few showers yesterday. Maybe enough to keep up with daily necessities. Showers are possible today too.
I worked hard yesterday. Spent the majority of the day in the kitchen making food for the birds and making halibut lasagna. The lasagna was delicious!!! So today I’m taking it easy. Gotta do some dishes and going to make a simple dinner tonight. lol!
Planning on doing the MMCs today and tomorrow .
Have a great day!
