Scrap A Day June 14, 2026
Good morning Cherries!!! Long time no post ! Posting here for Barb.
update on Twinks, she is having a lot of issues getting up/down and just walking in general as her back legs are very weak. Barb has runners and rugs to help however it’s still difficult. Send prayers, good thoughts, virtual hugs and of course lots of love her way. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Last week was MAD BUSY at work and home! Happy for the weekend. Things are very quiet here and the pups and I are still grieving. It’s been a month already. How did that happen? The pups basically don’t want breakfast now- it was always such a time of socializing with all of them- more so than dinner. 😢

anyways - not much scrapping however I’ve been painting ( watercolors) a bit and made some cards. Have done some sewing on paper as that relaxes me. And trying to get the yard into shape. Which has been interesting with weather we have been having in the weekends- cold- rain- 104 heat index - do lots of variable! Between last weekend this one - I think I’ve pretty much got it! I’ve been out since about 6 and got quite a bit done so far.
I just came in for a break and washed my hands so I could say hello and change out laundry!
I hops all of you have a wonderful day- whatever you spend it going! And remember I may not be posting all the times but I’m usually stalking and you are all in my heart and my thoughts and prayers. I genuinely care and love you cherries.

Good to see you here, Susan!  It is such a change when we lose one of our furbabies, even to the other furry family members.  Sending you hugs and hoping you all help each other through it.

Re: Scrap A Day June 14, 2026
Today is "do all the things" Sunday.  I don't have to go to work tomorrow, but there is a ton of stuff to get done around here, so I have to take advantage of days when DH is home, so he can help! ;)

I did manage to do a layout this morning, for the June Rewind of a Weekly sketch challenge. These photos popped up in my FB memories...Eliza was so little and cute, and I realized I never scrapped these. :)

Happy Sunday!

It’s a quiet day here. Warming into the lower 70’s.  I am happy with these moderate temps.

No big plans. Back to chauffeuring grandson tomorrow. Minion will be at Vacation Bible School with a friend to keep her occupied. Put my 4th of July decorations up. Put the flag out since it is Flag Day. Took photos of layouts I finished and now can upload them.

So good to see you here Susan!  Sending continued good thoughts to you on the loss of your fur baby.  Thanks for the update on Twinkie.  Sending good thought so Twinkie and Barb too.

The water color painting sounds relaxing along with the sewing.  I love sewing on paper too.

I loved Bible school as a kid and so did both of our girls.  Hope the Minion enjoys it too.

Quiet day here for us.  Still hot at 86 degrees but not humid like it has been.  We are due some thunderstorms late tonight and then the temps cool down a bit.  DH golfed yesterday with DGS and he is exhausted today.  The heat really took its toll on them.  I had a great day shopping with DD and purchased a few things for myself.  Scrapping and just relaxing today.

Hi cherries. Susan, thank you for posting this for Barb and I.

Slept in this morning. Fed everyone, and enjoyed my coffee. Had breakfast, showered, and got started on my first layout of the day. Half It. Really love how this came out. That pp with the paw print is a scrap.

Image

Will continue to keep playing until I'm all scrapped out. LOL.

Susan, it’s so hard to lose a pet and yes the others do grieve too! When Baxter died Jeff Kitty missed him too. And when the second of our 3 geese vanished without a trace he was grieving so badly that we found him a couple of chicks to keep him company. Within a few hours he was totally changed and he’s a very good Papa Goose! I hope you and your babies feel a little better soon.

I’m glad you’re being creative. It really helps.

Hey Cherries! 🍒

Steve helped me get things moved from the dining room table to my craft room downstairs. Still have a few things to move down but should only take a couple of trips. But now I have to figure out where to start organizing things. Ugh!!!!! lol! So that’s my plan for the day.

Hope you’re enjoying your day!!!

I would suggest alternating between organizing and actual crafting. 30-60 minutes working on organizing and then make a card! And like they say when doing laundry—wash-rinse-repeat!!! You will b far more motivated to do the boring stuff if you get to make a card in between! lol
