Geez Cherries, how is it the last day of June already, and how are we already midway through this year?! Slow down summer!
I finally got outside yesterday and scrubbed my patio table and chairs and got worn out and overheated but I am so glad it is done. I have a little more work to do out there with all my pots but that will be for another day. The intense heat is coming our way and I hope to be able to get it done before it hits, but not going to work on it today. This morning I have to drop my car off for an inspection, then later I have to make a stop at the store for a few things. I'm going to work on getting my new challenges ready today too. That's the plan.
Have a great day Cherries.

Barb, I agree!!! How can half the year have blown by!!!
Still cloudy out there this morning, but not currently raining. That’s a miracle! Will be interesting to see what the total amount was. I know there was flooding up in glacier National park and they were evacuating one of the historic hotel.
Want to clean house today. I did get more raspberries yesterday and made a second batch of jam. I also managed to get the weekly layout sketch done.
Happy Tuesday.

Leslee
Got up early to say goodbye to my houseguests, went out and watered all my plants (and got sweaty at 9:00 am), so now I am staying inside with Eliza today and enjoying my a/c! I am not a fan of this weather, and it's just going to get worse. This is end-of-July/ early August weather. LOL

Morning everyone! It's gonna be a hot one. We bought hanging pots of flowers when we got home from vacation. Got them and the flowerbeds all watered last night.
Update on my CT-Scan. No new tumors, but the 2 in my lungs haven't shrunk anymore but they haven't grown. So my Drs. are thinking of leaving me on the Doxil Chemotherapy for another month and then have a PET Scan in August. My treatment went well yesterday and feeling good today.
I wanna work on Rachel's sketch today, but we have granddoggie Ridge today so it will have to wait a bit.

Hot and steamy here and no intention of leaving the AC!! DH had a dentist appointment earlier and I watched the unboxing for Arden Creative's Christmas Cheer. So excited that it is available and not caught up in Notions sad event. I am filling my cart and then playing in my craft space today. Need to update the My Mood Challenge and get it posted later. Stay cool Cherries!

Hola cherries! It's noon here and quiet. My dad had a dr's appt this morning at 11:20am, so he left to go do that. Got the girls' busy with their FreezBones while I continue to take care of emails. That has been the deal lately, in the mornings. It was like that yesterday and a few times last week too. Lookin' forward to it being a short week due to the holiday. Need to start making myself a list of things to do on Friday so I'm not stuck doing it all on Saturday before my brother, SIL and the boys arrive. I also need to make a grocery list for the food we'll need for the 4th too.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Heating up here too. 93 today but as we always say here lol it’s a dry heat.
A couple errands today is my whole agenda. lol I’m even lazier when it’s hot out. I did get my seeds planted last night-Gerber daisies and zinnias. And I got some bulbs my sister sent me in the ground the night before. Now I have to remember to keep that part of the garden damp for about a week or so to keep cats from thinking it’s a new bathroom area for them!!! lol
Have a pleasant Tuesday and stay cool!

That’s good news Deanna! I hope and pray those tumors in your lungs start shrinking! Enjoy the grand dog while you’re scrapping!

Hello Cherries!
PLEASE send some of that heat our way!!!! It’s still so chilly that we need a fire!

It’s not even 60 in the house because it’s cloudy and a bit windy!
I can’t believe the year is half over already either! Where is time going?!?!
I finally made it back to my room after dinner last night. Thought I had organized my papers better when I packed it all up to move downstairs. I did manage to get the full sheets of paper put away but there’s a LOT of embellishments and scraps to deal with. So I’ll deal with what I left on my desk and then I’m going to finally scrap! It’s been way too long since I played. Lololol!
Hope you’re all having a good day!!!

"Be the Change You Wish to See in the World"

Checking in late today. Had follow up with the surgeons assistant today and he says everything looks great. Range of motion is already at 90 degrees with no warm up and extension is perfect. Still a lot of pain but that’s part of the deal. Need to just elevate a bit more than I have been for the swelling. Just taking it easy this afternoon, desire to scrap is high but energy is low. Hope everyone facing this brutal heat stays cool and safe.

Glad your treatment went well and you are feeling good. It is good that the tumors haven’t grown, so hopefully another month shrinks them! You continue to be in my prayers!

I am wanting to plant some things, but concerned that they won’t do well with as hot as it is. Do you have luck with seeds when temps are in the 90’s?Charleneanne wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2026 2:08 pmHeating up here too. 93 today but as we always say here lol it’s a dry heat.

Yes. I loosen the dirt a couple inches then just scatter the seeds over the dirt. Then cover it with miracle grow and inch or two deep. Lol and to me, more is better. Keep the miracle grow damp with once or twice a day sprinkling. The damp layer of miracle grow acts as insulation. I think it’s probably like hot house nursery seed growing.
But as I mentioned, lol, the cats assume you’re doing it for them. Good luck!
