Scrap a Day, July 3rd
Hey Cherries. Another hot and humid one for us today. I have no appointments but I do have to run out for a bit and pick up more of Twinkie's medication. Other than that I'll be in all day, enjoying the comfort of a/c and working on getting my challenges up.

Have a great day Cherries.

Re: Scrap a Day, July 3rd
I am planning a chill day.  Yesterday ended up being busier than I planned.  Had the 2 youngest grandkids here for the afternoon.  The grandson helped grandpa clean the mud and crud off the camper after our camping trip.  So, the minion was with me.  I didn’t want her on the tablet, so I headed out to vacuum the car out.  She found her sister’s pogo stick in the garage which kept her entertained.  Then her sister showed up and they tie dyed shirts for the 4th.
I have laundry to do today and that’s about it.  So hopefully creating. DD is coming over to mow.

Happy Friday!

Quick trip I hope!  I went out to get the mail at 10:30 and it was 90 degrees and so humid!

It's not real close, but with a/c in the car it won't be bad. It's 94 here and still rising. And so humid ugh.

The weather is oppressive here.   The heat along with the humidity is awful.  And too think we have another 4 days before it cools just a bit.  I went out to get the mail at 9:30 and it was already 90 degrees.  It's climbed 3 since then and we will hit 100 around 4.  Another good day to craft.  Stay cool and safe to those DCs that are affected!

Good morning, hope you Cherries in the heat wave are staying cool.  It has been storming here everyday. Big booming thunderstorms and I love them.  We have needed the rain so bad!!  I did not end up scrapping yesterday and probably won't today either. I bought a negative scanner from Amazon and have been scanning negatives so I can finally throw them out. Most of them I have the pictures already uploaded in Dropbox but have found a couple from my younger years that I don't remember ever seeing so that was fun.  I have tow boxes to go but it is a good activity while I am resting my knee.  Have a great day Cherries.

97 and heading to over 100 degrees again today. Concert last night was cancelled and then the big parade today was cancelled. We did go see the floats though but it wasn’t the same. There is another concert tonight which we will go to if it actually happens.

staying in the ac for now and maybe heading to the pool soon.

this heat is really disappointing because of all the 250th celebrations planned here.

Still super hot and humid here, too!  Our community fireworks are tonight.  We plan to watch them on the lake from out boat, WHILE we float in the water!  lol  Have to give Miss Eliza her calming treat, shut her in the back of the house and play some music for her.  Hopefully, she doesn't get too worked up.

Aww....that is really too bad.  I understand wanting to keep people safe, but still.  I hope you still get to enjoy some of the festivities tomorrow, or maybe they will postpone them?

It was 90 degrees already at 11 am when I went out to water my flowers.  They are not enjoying this weather, either!  LOL

I never thought I would wish for a thunderstorm, since Eliza is so scared of them, but we could use some rain, too!  5 days of 90 degrees is rough on my plants.  I water them every day, but it doesn't help that much when they are baking in this heat.

Good that you are getting those negatives scanned!  I have so many old photos and negatives, but I doubt I will ever keep up with them.  Still, it is fun to see them, especially the ones you don't remember seeing. :)

Re: Scrap a Day, July 3rd
Well weather warming up a bit more than first predicted to 94 today but a bit of breeze.

Yesterday showing my friend how to do the stencils using perfect pearls was “interesting!” Lol. She apparently isn’t a “bling” girl and outright rejected the stickles. lol and her big rocks turned out to be large flat circular stepping stones. Anyhow she says I’m still too bossy so after a while we cleaned up and went out to eat at a local Mexican food place. lol. I got home about 7:30 all tired out! A very good day. We’ve been besties since we were 9 and 10.

Nothing planned at all today. In fact nothing all weekend. I do not like fireworks and Rosie hates them. We will hide out in the house tomorrow night for sure.

Have a friendly Friday!

Oh, that's a great idea.  I have so many negatives from years ago.  I didn't realize this was a thing.

I have one of those for years and shamefully have never used it. I really should all my kids baby pics and growing up pics are from before the digital era, and I have boxes of negatives.
